We have been helping councils and their contractors to manage and inspect assets in playgrounds and parks for over 15 years. PSS Software has become the most cost-effective asset management tool available today. We work closely with our customers and regulatory bodies to ensure our software is always up-to-date and meets statutory requirements.
In 1995, PSS created PlaySafe to manage children's playgrounds. PlaySafe was the UK's first playground inspection app that ran on PDAs and it was quickly taken up by independent annual inspectors. From those humble beginnings, PlaySafe and its sister app, StaySafe, grew into a software tool that could manage any kind of asset from trees at the roadside to the fabric and contents of council-owned buildings. We've worked with our customers and their contractors to make our software easier to use by improving the user interface, adding award-winning reporting tools and merging PlaySafe and StaySafe into the web-enabled product we now call PSSLive..
We are proud to have some strong recognition and approval for PSSLive. Originally developed in partnership with the National Playing Fields Association (now Fields in Trust), the system has been commended by the Health and Safety Executive, and is both approved and used by RoSPA.
