Software Enhancements

Public Sector Software has just released its latest upgrade Version 4.8.0.0 Configuration 111 compatible with PDA 3.92 and upwards. These latest PlaySafe and StaySafe upgrades include many minor additions and fixes

Latest Features Include:

Configuration wizard
To enable the create personalise of the software to only display the asset areas and views, finding groups, inspection types you are interested in a simple configuration wizard has been developed.

Site Tree Extension
A site can now be the parent of a site
Unlimited levels can be created within the site tree for greater flexibility
Check boxes against each item in the site tree allow for easier display in the grid of any owner, department, site, asset combination
Right clicking on the site tree will enable new levels to be added and levels to be reorganised once placed in the tree in any format to suit your requirements (move up a level, move down a level)

Inventory
Adding Assets - The way assets are added to the software has been simplified to follow the format of the rest of the softwares function. The asset category icons have been removed and by right clicking on a site you can get the “Add Asset” option, which is also available on the top grey tool bar. A dialog box containing the selection for asset category and asset type will appear, before you are then presented with the usual Asset properties form to complete.

Administration
View Menu "Show Areas on Tree" menu tick is wrong way around
Auto Import PDA Images on app start and exit
File\Run Script menu is Admin not Developer
File\Config.Wizard menu is Developer only

PDA
Sync Options – Quick sync option enabling just changes to be sync’d for either the full database, selected sites or just new inspections that have been completed.
Updated site tree layout with multiple levels shown on PDA
Close button moved to the bottom of the page for more logical completion process

BVPI 199 updated to NI-195/196
New MUGA EN15312 and Skate standards EN14974 added
Database - task type - "TREES - " rename "Trees - Short"

Inspections
Filter Inspection types in "Schedule Multi Site Inspections" dialog to only show types that are "IncludeOnChecklist"

Findings & Tasks & Works Orders
Proposed and Rejected findings updated to filter on site tree selections
Urgency cannot be changed after Fiding closed
Tasks can be reassigned at any stage and assigned to works orders if required from any stage.
Tasks can be removed from works orders and reassigned if required.
WorksOrder views should filter on tree selection (as per the ToDo)

Detail Report Wizard/Inspection History Reports
Age range column selections added for asset properties
Drag a column header removed as was not able to affect report layout
Asset notes fixed to show on report
Disclaimers updated for SPAG check
Inspection notes pulled onto all reports (optional)
Inspection Detail Report renamed Detail Report
Template fixed to ensure previous photos do not appear in new report
Asset and Site columns show all columns sorted alpha
