Recording playground inspections via pocket PC/PDA (personal digital assistant) is an efficient and effective way of getting large amounts of data into an automated format quickly.

The entire PDA software is built using a series of knowledgeable drop-down menus meaning all you need to do is "Point and Tap".

Inspectors find themselves able to spend more time inspecting and less time reporting due to the built-in checklists with cross-referenced findings and tasks mapping all known types of play equipment and safer surfacing. Office staff find themselves presented with ordered information in a timely fashion which is easy to analyse, prioritise and action. Users are fully empowered by the software to manage their own workloads with no intervention from the office required at all for task action and completion. The addition of a To-Do list on the PDA as well as the office system provides all the information that is required to ensure that outstanding tasks are dealt with and items requiring monitoring are visited in a timely fashion
